Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

THE BEST SING TROLLING EVER! Voice trolling in Call of Duty!

SSJ Carter's channel usually draws a few thousand views a day, and with nothing new posted it drew a little more than that: steady, slightly above its usual pace, with the subscriber count holding at about 383,000.

The work is being done by songs. "THE BEST SING TROLLING EVER! Voice trolling in Call of Duty!" went up about 140 days ago and is still the video people find first, now past 200,000 views. The formula is right there in the title: Carter, the creator behind the parodies on SSJ9k, hops into Black Ops 7 lobbies and sings at strangers over proximity chat, voice changer and all, and waits to see who plays along.

Two older entries in the same vein keep it company. "SING TROLLING made her call me USHER!" suggests at least one lobby took the serenade as a compliment. The year-old "Gamer screams NO when I SING to him!" went the other way. In its description, Carter mentions a pile of clips that never made the cut, and floats the idea of a members-only section for the ones too inappropriate to post.

Among the shooter channels nearest his size, Mactics and Ali-A² are having very large weeks, and TheBrokenMachine and Chanzes are running well above their usual pace. SSJ Carter's week was a quieter one, kept going by the same tune.
