Tottenham Hotspur v Coventry City | Highlights | Premier League 2026/27

James Maddison supplies the curl from distance; Omar Marmoush supplies the dribble and finish that puts Tottenham back in front. Spurs' wait for a Premier League win ends against Coventry City, with Ben Davies adding the late goal that makes it secure.

The highlights on Stan Sport Football reached roughly 97,000 views in six hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for uploads this short. There is a whole afternoon's change of mood packed into the clip: an early lead, an equalizer just after halftime, then Tottenham finding an answer rather than settling for a draw.

Maddison's opener gets an extra look through RefCam, showing the strike and celebration from the referee's perspective. Jack Rudoni brings Coventry level before Marmoush works his way through to score his first Tottenham goal. Davies finishes the job in stoppage time for a 3-1 victory.

The comments pick up on Maddison's finish and the need to turn this result into a run, rather than treating one win as the problem solved. Some viewers also single out Marmoush's contribution.

Stan Sport Football gives the match another angle in a separate discussion with Alan Shearer and Owen Hargreaves, reflecting on the victory and Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski's return.
