Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Abaddon, my sweet lil demon prince, was always just a nice boy #HauntedHotel #Netflix

A demon prince gets the nice-boy treatment in Still Watching Netflix's most watched new upload. The Haunted Hotel excerpt has viewers puzzling over Abaddon's supernatural circumstances, including what happens when the ghosts leave, while others are already asking for another season.

The animated series supplies another of the channel's new uploads, this time explaining its familiar voices. The cast names include Jimmi Simpson, Eliza Coupe, Will Forte and Natalie Morales. Between the character clip and the voice-cast introduction, there's an invitation both to follow the story and to work out where you've heard everyone before.

Across 15 uploads, the channel also made room for Trixie Mattel joining Josh on Mythical Kitchen, plus a more serious pair of East of Eden videos. John Steinbeck's family saga provides the backdrop for the Florence Pugh and Mike Faist upload, which currently draws the most daily views of the channel's highlighted videos. Trixie's kitchen appearance is close behind, with Abaddon next: the week's largest new total and its fastest-moving upload aren't quite the same thing.

The channel brought in roughly 20 million views over seven days, while its subscriber count remained unchanged. Daily viewing is running at about a third of its usual pace. That slowdown is shared by nearby channels including BBC and Prime Video, although Adult Swim is drawing more daily viewing than usual. For Still Watching Netflix, the active viewing stretches from a demon's gentler side to kitchen conversation and Trask-family drama.
