hansel and gretel are too helpful

A witch facing unusually helpful visitors supplied Studio C's most-watched new upload, but the guest list stretches well beyond the fairy-tale forest. Eleven uploads brought together Hansel and Gretel, Captain Hook, Freddy Fazbear and Pete Holmes with a beard that causes problems.

In "hansel and gretel are too helpful," the familiar witch encounter becomes a comedy about getting rid of her. Viewers keep mentioning the opening cooking question and the moment the characters drop their accents after the witch leaves. Others have a more practical casting question: who plays the witch?

The freshest momentum belongs to "Pete Holmes is Bigfoot" and its companion, "is pete holmes with a beard the real bigfoot?" The camping sketch mistakes the bearded comedian for an ailing woodland creature, with Jason Gray, Jericho Lopez, Naomi Winders and Aleta Myles joining him. It's a sneak peek of Holmes' episode scheduled for October 19.

CG5's visit also has staying power. "FNAF Pizza is Now Open (CG5)," posted just before this week, remains among the channel's busiest uploads. Its fictional grand reopening promises that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza is safe, a reassurance that carries rather different weight in Five Nights at Freddy's.

Across the channel, the week brought roughly 4.5 million views and continued subscriber growth. Nearby sketch channels had varied weeks: al jokes drew a particularly large audience, while totallyanton's daily viewing stayed close to its usual level. Studio C's own lineup kept moving between storybook villains, gaming horror and a camping trip derailed by facial hair.
