'He wasn't so sure to start': Swaddelini's booth shorts find a crowd

Three baby-swaddling shorts from the same day are all running far ahead of the brand's usual pace, and one of them leads.

The caption admits it right away: he wasn't so sure to start. By the end of the short, the woman doing the wrapping has talked him round. Swaddelini, the company behind what its channel calls "the soft and stretchy swaddle," posted the clip on October 2. Within six hours it had about 25,000 views, on a channel where a new short usually gathers a few thousand in its whole first day.

It was not the only one. Two more shorts from the same day, "I am so glad I could help another moms baby sleep" and "Another baby successfully swaddled," have each passed 20,000 views. They follow the same simple pattern: a parent, a baby and a few minutes of patient folding. The tags point to a baby show, and the next day the channel posted a thank-you to everyone who stopped by its booth. Together they suggest the week's clips were filmed at the stand with visiting families.

The likes moved even faster than the views. The leading short drew more than twenty times the likes a short here normally collects in a full day, and it did that in six hours. The comment section is small but busier than usual. One viewer asks whether the swaddles come in adult sizes, and another simply wants it known that they love the lady doing the wrapping.

The booth seems to be giving the channel plenty to post. On October 3 it added another short, this time of a baby in one of its sleep sacks.
