Homelander, in a whisper: The ASMR Ryan finally makes his The Boys roleplay

A two-part Vought audition, a sounds collab with RynseyASMR and a four-hour tour of his horror shelves filled four uploads.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Among the ASMR and sleep channels around his size, The ASMR Ryan added more views over the past seven days than any of them, about four and a half million, with Tim Janis and Celaine's ASMR the nearest behind.

The upload he seems proudest of came first. "Homelander Recruits YOU for his Super Team | The Boys ASMR Roleplay" puts the viewer through an audition for the Seven, built from the world of Amazon Prime's The Boys, where Antony Starr plays the all-American hero with nothing heroic underneath. The chapters run from elevator threats and a meeting with The Deep and A-Train to a scene titled "DON'T JUMP... Jump." His description calls it possibly his favorite video ever, long requested, and warns that it is very mature and full of F bombs. The comments read like a scene-by-scene replay: viewers post timestamps for the moment he says a famous line, the moment one of them jumped, and a few wonder what Starr himself would make of it. Two days later a shorter sequel, "Homelander Interviews You," followed.

The video moving fastest now is lighter: a sound-learning collab with fellow creator RynseyASMR, which is still gathering views quicker than anything else on the channel three days in. And on October 2 he opened his Halloween season with a four-hour ramble through every horror film he owns, from the Universal Monsters to 80s slashers, asking viewers for their own favorites.

Ten days on, his quiz with his girlfriend, BusyBASMR, keeps finding people too, and the channel is running above its usual daily pace, with 10,000 new subscribers on the week.
