The girlfriend, played by a man in a blonde wig, sunglasses and leopard-print pants, keeps interrupting Johnny while the clerk tries to explain that he plays both characters in a scripted story. That explanation doesn't get far. The customer considers herself Johnny's queen; the clerk thinks she's treating him like a puppet.

"I'm not talking about him, I'm talking about you," the clerk says, before suggesting that the girlfriend try the game herself. She refuses, then a cut to twelve hours later finds her firmly installed on the couch, controller in hand.

Viewers are picking up on the clerk's accidental sales achievement: turning someone demanding a return into a customer. Others point to Johnny's visible relief when the clerk backs him up.
