Simon COULDN’T Find a Single Word…A 16 Year Old Just Sang JAMES BROWN

Molly Scott's X Factor journey gets more than an audition replay on Top Viral Talent. The clips channel's most watched new upload follows her from her 2018 entrance through the Six Chair Challenge, judges' houses and live shows, with James Brown's "It's A Man's World" providing the opening draw.

The compilation has reached about 312,000 views and is also the channel's most active upload right now. Viewers are discussing the different tones in Scott's voice, how she made the James Brown song her own, and Simon Cowell's support for her. Others return to an enduring talent-show question: how much should stage movement matter beside the singing?

All five additions revisit X Factor contestants. Ellona Santiago's collection returns to her second attempt on the American show, after appearing with InTENsity. Amelia Lily's stretches from her Janis Joplin audition to a final performance with Kelly Rowland. Olivia Garcia brings an Alicia Keys song choice into the mix, while Leona Lewis's collection follows the 2006 winner from audition to winner's single, including her duet with Take That.

Across the channel, weekly viewing reached roughly 19 million, although daily views are now running at less than a sixth of their usual pace. Subscribers were unchanged. Nearby, Top 10 Talent had a particularly busy viewing week; Talent Recap also drew a substantial weekly audience.

Garcia's compilation is the next most active upload after Scott's. Beyond the week's X Factor theme, an older clip of Heavenly Joy Jerkins on America's Got Talent continues to draw viewers, keeping a different talent-show stage in the picture.

What viewers say

The girl that sang the James Brown song—I like the way she did it. She made it her own. What I mean by that is she tweaked it in a certain way and she had a beautiful voice and she did it wonderfully .

This girl is incredible
While some of her styles might not be the type I go for she's amazing. She is truly a vocal chameleon, so many different types of tones and voices, and they're all spot on. She definitely deserves to be where she is.
