Will has been chasing a flight on Air China's Boeing 747-8 for months. When he finally boards in Frankfurt with his father Ian, they find the Forbidden Pavilion first-class cabin entirely to themselves. Later, on China Eastern's flight from Shanghai to London, it happens again.
"I Tried the World's Most Secretive First Class" was Trek Trendy's only new upload this week, reaching nearly a million views in a little over a day. The title's mystery gives way to a practical inspection: meals, beds, lounges and the question of what all this privacy actually buys. Will sleeps particularly well in China Eastern's enclosed suite, but calls its amenity kit "pretty basic and rather disappointing for first class." The video includes a sponsored Airalo segment.
Between flights, father and son take a high-speed train from Beijing to Shanghai, with hotel stops at the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen and the J Hotel in Shanghai Tower. Ian's opening "Guten Tag, how are we?" gets its own mention in the comments. Other viewers focus on the pleasure of taking a parent along, including one who compares the Beijing invitation with taking his own dad out for steak.
The new flight review is the channel's busiest video right now. Behind it, the Britannic Explorer journey continues drawing viewers toward its private carriage, Juniper suite and Simon Rogan menus, while the Orient Express cruise review remains active too.
Subscribers held steady over the week, and daily channel views are below their usual level. Among nearby travel channels, Tyler Morgan - Japan Adventures had substantial subscriber growth, while GeoWizard and DownieLive also held steady. Trek Trendy's week, meanwhile, added more than a million views to a catalog spanning aircraft, sleepers and sailing yachts.

That has got to be one of the coolest things in the world. Pick up the phone and call the old man: "Dad? Pack a bag...we're going to Beijing." The closest I ever got was scooping up my dad and taking him to Outback Steakhouse.
