Never roll up on a small pickup 😅

"Oh, she ain't for sale." That ought to settle the pickup negotiation in Trent Ellis's sketch. Instead, the unseen would-be buyer keeps pushing, until the driver finds a way to end the conversation without raising his voice.

The Short has drawn roughly 483,000 views in 13 hours, far beyond the usual start for Ellis's short-form comedy. Its premise is wonderfully uncomplicated: someone wants the truck, its owner wants to be left alone, and politeness is being mistaken for an invitation to keep asking.

This is a staged comedy sketch, not footage of an actual confrontation. When the off-camera man starts speculating about the small gun the driver might have, the driver silently produces an exceptionally large revolver. Suddenly, the visitor remembers another truck he could look at.

Ellis's channel mixes Southern comedy with hunting and firearm videos, so the prop fits his established territory. But the detail viewers keep returning to is the courteous send-off. Alongside comparisons to John Wick and Dirty Harry, commenters pick out the driver's unruffled delivery: "Y'all have a good day."
