Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

How Well Do 'La Bola Negra' Stars Know Each Other?

Variety's week landed in much the same viewing neighborhood as Jeremy Jahns and RedLetterMedia: roughly three million additional views apiece. Its subscriber count stayed unchanged, while daily viewing ran a little above its usual level.

Of ten new uploads, "How Well Do 'La Bola Negra' Stars Know Each Other?" drew the biggest audience, reaching about 184,000 views. Guitarricadelafuente and Miguel Bernardeau test their knowledge of each other, with memories of filming and premiering at Cannes supplying the shared history. Bernardeau is familiar to Élite viewers as Guzmán; here, the assignment is knowing his co-star rather than navigating school drama.

The comments have their own little geographical roll call. Viewers append hometowns to their English-language observations, often switching into Spanish for the location. Madrid, Granada and Alicante appear alongside Ohio and Connecticut, turning the replies into an informal guest book.

"Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun | Behind the Song" brings a different kind of recollection. Larsson, producer MNEK and songwriter Helena Gao trace the track through Swedish summers, a Madonna influence and the decision to invite PinkPantheress onto the Girl's Trip remix. It has the strongest daily momentum of the week's new releases.

The busiest upload overall, though, arrived just before this week's batch: "Does Matthew Lillard Know His Lines?" His career quiz stretches from Hackers and Scream to Five Nights at Freddy's and Scooby Doo. The description offers a particularly revealing contrast: Lillard once doubted Scream would be more than a cheap horror film, but names SLC Punk as the work he wants to be remembered for.
