Tom has come to get a PlayStation working. Before he can sort out the entertainment equipment, though, he has to explain that an ordinary patch of wall is not a power outlet.

That's the setup for Vlog Creations' prank: Ross pretends not to understand electricity, pushing plugs straight into drywall while a professional tries to make sense of the job. "This is just the wall. That's not a plug," Tom tells him.

The Short, posted under the title "Full Vid 👇", has reached roughly 1.7 million views in a little over a day. Its estimated first-day audience was about eleven times the channel's usual start for Shorts, but the especially busy comment section has a subject beyond the absurd wiring: the man trying to fix it.

Viewers point to Tom's repeated attempts to explain the problem, and some recognize the customer-service experience of having to find another reserve of patience. One popular suggestion imagines reversing the joke with a hidden outlet, so the apparently impossible connection actually works.

On screen, Tom gets the TV and soundbar powered through a surge protector. Ross then pushes a USB cable into the drywall. By the time Tom receives his payment and tip, his instructions have become considerably simpler: "Don't touch any of this stuff."
