Peng Qinglin, a delivery rider and a 12-meter jump into the Qiantang River
The 2023 rescue, told in a Short from late July, is the story WhatTheWeb's viewers keep finding, ahead of a hero principal and a loyal dog named Belka.

Delivery Hero Jumps 12 Meters to Save Drowning Woman! 😱❤️ #shorts
What do people watch on WhatTheWeb when nothing new goes up? Mostly a delivery rider. The channel posted no new videos over the week, and the Short getting the most daily views is ten weeks old: the story of Peng Qinglin, who, the description says, was mid-delivery in 2023 when he saw a woman struggling in the Qiantang River and jumped nearly 12 meters from a bridge to reach her, despite his fear of the height. She survived, and he was honored as a Good Samaritan and offered a free place at college.
It fits the channel's own mission statement, real-life heroes most people never hear about. Close behind are a high school principal who rushed an armed former student before anyone was hurt, and Belka, a dog who waited four days on a frozen riverbank after her owner fell through the ice and died there, a vigil the description compares to Hachiko.
Without fresh uploads, the pace eased to about half of a usual day, a little over 330,000 views across the week, and subscribers held at 467,000. The about text lists every 50,000 milestone ticked off so far, with 450,000 already behind it and the next mission still marked as running.
Among the clips and compilation channels around its size, Juliet Ranks is running above its usual pace and Smirk is gathering views in the tens of millions, while Boat Zone Ramps had a week much like this one.
