Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I Got a Pet Dinosaur...

Bolt has staying power. Aquarium Info posted nothing new this week, but "I Got a Pet Dinosaur..." is its busiest video by daily views, reaching about 2.3 million views overall.

The dinosaur is a frilled-neck lizard, and Jamie's assignment begins as pet sitting for her sister. The episode follows a month of trying to tame Bolt while developing custom feeding solutions and a bioactive enclosure. Robotics and 3D printing meet reptile care, with Outdoor Adam heading into the Australian Outback to learn how these lizards live in the wild. The episode also includes sponsorship.

That makes a different kind of building project from the fish-tank bed that was drawing attention here last month. "I Turned my Bed into a Fish Tank!" remains among the channel's busiest uploads, with Jamie and Joelle's tide-pool construction drawing on advice from Andrew Sandler and the PoloReef team. The older "1,000 Ants vs. 1,000 Ants (Rich vs. Poor)" is attracting even more daily views than the bed, through its resource-divided colony experiment.

Across the channel, the week brought nearly seven million views and a modest subscriber gain. Natural Habitat Shorts had a larger viewing week among nearby animal channels, while Rocky Kanaka drew a similar weekly audience to Aquarium Info.

Aquarium Info's lifetime viewing total is now above four billion, with its current activity spanning Bolt's enclosure, ant colonies and a bed built over a living reef.
