Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Mark Wahlberg and Ted Hire Sam L. Jackson [Amanda Seyfried Scene] | Ted 2

The name is Samantha Jackson, not Samuel L. Jackson, and that distinction supplies the joke in Big Screen Laughs' most watched new upload. The Ted 2 excerpt brings Mark Wahlberg's John and Seth MacFarlane's talking bear to Amanda Seyfried's lawyer after the state strips Ted of his legal identity. These are fictional movie scenes, with Ted's fight to be recognized as a person driving the sequel.

That lawyer visit has reached about 123,000 views, comfortably the largest audience among the week's new clips. Viewers mention Seyfried and the resemblance between Ted's voice and Peter Griffin's, an understandable connection: MacFarlane voices both. Another Ted 2 upload follows Giovanni Ribisi's Donnie abducting the bear at Comic-Con.

The channel also made room for Damon Wayans's Major Payne: permission to sneeze, a decidedly unsuitable bedtime retelling of The Little Engine That Could, and Tiger taking command of the final parade drill. Kevin Hart and Ice Cube supplied a newer addition with Ride Along's test of whether Ben Barber is ready for police work and marriage.

Across the channel, nearly two million views and a modest gain in subscribers made for a growing week. Weekly viewing was substantially busier than at nearby movie-commentary channel Dan Murrell, while TUHS and Josiah Fi drew larger audiences.

The strongest daily activity, though, belongs to Hart's older Smart Tech confrontation from The 40-Year-Old Virgin, as we reported here. It is drawing more than three times the daily views of the Ted lawyer clip, keeping that electronics-store argument very much in circulation.
