Even mining has consequences. In "Minecraft, But Drops are Scary Pokémon!", Bionic breaks blocks to summon creatures, turning a routine bit of resource gathering into a search for a terrifying team.
Izzy joins him, with a battle scheduled after thirty minutes of collecting. Bionic catches Gengar in the desert, finds a massive Giratina and eventually rides it over the landscape. The scenery gets stranger from there: a mutant Unown King waits among the trees, while an underground crystal cavern holds hidden rooms stocked with Master Balls and rare items. Near lava, a custom creature called Nullzard produces a reality-distorting visual glitch when Bionic tests its move.
The Pokémon challenge is the more watched of his two uploads this week, with roughly 628,000 views. In the comments, viewers ask for more Pokémon episodes; one remembers waiting for this installment since an earlier one-block video. Another says Bionic's videos make the game appealing even without playing Pokémon themselves.
His other upload, "If You Sleep, Minecraft Gets More Scary", makes bedtime the ominous premise. It is currently drawing views faster than the Pokémon adventure. "I Went Beyond the Sky in Minecraft", posted earlier in the month, also remains among his most active videos and has passed a million views.
Across the channel, daily viewing is more than twice its usual pace, and the subscriber count grew over the week. Nearby in the Minecraft neighborhood, Mumbo Jumbo and LDShadowLady are also seeing above-usual daily viewing, while Grian is having a quieter spell. Bionic's own week keeps the everyday mechanics unsettling: breaking a block or going to sleep is no longer quite so ordinary.
