Brandon Spikes is explaining how he prepared to own the middle of the field when Will Compton suddenly becomes the example of an entirely different approach: pasta and electrolytes.

The Bussin' With The Boys Short drew about 133,000 views in its first 14 hours, already far beyond the channel's usual first-day audience for Shorts. It starts as a football mentality story and ends with the hosts laughing at a very specific pregame-menu joke.

Spikes says he chose middle linebacker over defensive end because he didn't want offenses running away from him. The middle was his territory. His way of getting ready to defend it, he explains, included skipping the pregame meal and working himself into a hungry frenzy.
