Cyle turns his fishing catch into dinner
A catch-and-cook upload sits at the center of his recent lineup as catchingcyle adds more than four million views in a day.
catchingcyle
Story of Why this story? The whole channel is running at 4,266,857 views a day, 14 times a normal day (304,160).
catchingcyle usually adds views in the hundreds of thousands each day. This time, the daily gain cleared four million, a sharp change for Cyle's freshwater-and-saltwater fishing channel.
His October catch-and-cook upload, "I stabbed my dinner! #fishing #fishingvideo #fish #catchandcook," has passed five million views. It's the largest audience among his listed recent videos, which also include a beach shark catch and a giant-fish outing with the teasing title "Catching elephants with peanuts! (Giant fish) #fishing #fishingvideo." The dinner video gives that collection a different goal: not just catching something, but making a meal of it.
There is movement in an older dinner-themed upload, too. Cyle's September spear-fishing video is gaining views more than five times faster than its usual daily pace. That smaller lift doesn't account for the channel-wide surge, but it puts another catch-for-the-table video back in the mix.
