Skips, safety gear and a new living room: Bea's £4,578 free clean, itemized
Bea's management team gave up their own days to help, and viewers keep returning to the work itself and the family who asked for help.
Why this story? The video is running at 23,294 views a day, 6.2 times its usual pace (3,782).
How Much Did This 6 Day Free Clean Cost Me?
Bea's channel introduction describes the work in one line: she offers free deep cleans to people in need. Her Short "How Much Did This 6 Day Free Clean Cost Me?" shows what one of those cleans costs.
The job came with a deadline. An elderly woman had six days to make her flat safe or lose it, and Bea opens with the scale of the problem: "The living room was hoarded from floor to ceiling, there was an active mice infestation..." Then she goes through the costs. Waste removal came to more than £1,400, followed by protective equipment and transport. Refurnishing was the largest single cost. A friend and the resident's family covered the accommodation, and her viewers paid the final total of £4,578.
Some of the help never appeared on the bill. Alongside Harry, her regular cleaning partner, Bea called in Dylan, Jodie, Jess, Rebecca, Rhys and Niamh from OTG, her management company. "The truth is, I can't put a price on an entire team giving up their time to help a stranger," she says.
She is just as careful about the woman at the center of the story. "The resident is not a hoarder," Bea says, explaining that grief and a severe depressive episode had overwhelmed her before her family reached out. The family and social care workers took on the repairs, painting, flooring and pest control that followed.
The Short arrived days before the full-length "6 Days To Clean Or She's Homeless," which has drawn more than twice its audience. It has now passed a million views. Viewers keep mentioning how physically demanding the work is, the rugs put down to cover the dirty carpet until the new floor arrived, and how often it is family who step in.
Bea's newest upload continues that care in its title: "Why I Don't Show The Resident's Reaction."

Even giving her rugs to walk on instead of the dirty carpet while she waits for the floor replacements is such a lovely gesture
