A fake notebook page sets up Drawings and Creations' nine illusion
The fast-starting tutorial uses perspective, pencil shading and a little cutting to make a drawn digit appear upright.

Amazing 3D Number (9) Real Illusion On Paper 😲 #3dart #3ddrawing #drawingtutorial #paperart #easy3d
The notebook paper is drawn. In Drawings and Creations' latest optical-illusion tutorial, even the ruled lines beneath the number nine are part of the artwork.
The Short has drawn more than 52,000 views before its first full day, already well beyond the channel's usual opening for this format. It follows another numerical illusion, featuring a two, that has passed a million views.
This time, the artist begins with blank white paper and a black marker. Ruler-guided lines stretch downward from the nine, while solid black areas and softer pencil gradients give the shape apparent depth. Only then do red and blue notebook lines go in, along with circles imitating punched holes. The supposedly ordinary page is another layer of the trick.
A blended shadow to the right helps place the digit in its surroundings. But drawing isn't the whole method: the artist marks unwanted areas with an X and cuts them away with scissors.
For the final display, the trimmed sheet sits at an angle on a wooden table. A blue marker passes over and under the apparent standing shape, giving the eye something solid to compare with the paper illusion.
