Blackthorn gets a new shape in Eoin Reardon's workshop

Staff-making, a broken pool cue and a chopping-block upgrade keep his hand-tool catalog busy.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Making A Blackthorn Staff #woodwork #craft #stick #blackthorn #staff

What is drawing viewers to Eoin Reardon's workshop? A blackthorn staff is the strongest daily draw among his currently active videos, with a pool cue repair and a chopping-block upgrade close behind. Three different jobs, all rooted in making a useful piece of wood work a little harder.

"Making A Blackthorn Staff #woodwork #craft #stick #blackthorn #staff" has reached more than two million views. Blackthorn also connects neatly with the channel's traditional craft interests: "Shillelaghmaking" remains its most-watched regular video. The staff belongs to a familiar world of sticks, hand tools and practical Irish woodworking, rather than a sudden change of direction.

The audience grew over the week, adding 10,000 subscribers, although daily views are running a little below their usual level. Among nearby DIY and home channels, HAUS PLANS had a particularly substantial week for views, while RUDAN BROTHERS saw stronger subscriber growth. Eoin Reardon shared a similar subscriber gain with Tiny Home Tours.

There is a larger project on the bench, too. "I Bought An Old Shop!" now has a follow-up in "Work Begins! - Shop Restoration Ep.1," already among the channel's most-watched regular uploads. Alongside repairs small enough to hold in one hand, restoring an entire shop gives this woodworking catalog a very different scale.
