Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Minecraft, But There's SQUISHY DUMPLING Hearts

EYstreem gave Minecraft's hearts a squishy makeover, with Rainbow Dumpling, Shark Dumpling and Gold Dumpling named as the challenges in "Minecraft, But There's SQUISHY DUMPLING Hearts." It was the most watched of three new uploads, reaching about 1.3 million views.

The comments have become a little scavenger hunt of their own. Several viewers point to what they identify as a weeping villager in the background, swapping early timestamps for others to inspect. Others take the opportunity to ask whether Magic of Kuma will get another season, bringing an older series into the conversation beneath the dumplings.

There is another creature-driven adventure close by. "I Survived 100 Days as BUDDY in Minecraft" sets out to upgrade BUDDY and protect Mr. Mailbox in Hardcore Minecraft. Although the dumplings have the larger total, BUDDY is currently drawing more daily views than any other upload on the channel. The week's third addition, "How I Became the Smartest Kid in Minecraft… #ad," is a sponsored video.

Across the channel, weekly viewing reached roughly 14 million views while subscribers remained unchanged. Daily viewing is currently only about a quarter of its usual pace. Nearby Minecraft channels have had varied weeks: Maizen is drawing substantially more daily views than usual, while Cash is also running well below its typical level.

EYstreem's creature stories extend beyond the new arrivals: "Can You Keep DRAGON as a Pet?" remains among the channel's most active uploads, with its description putting a friend through an encounter with NIGHT FURY and THE EXTINCTION.
