Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Bro thinks he's Steph 😭

Brandin Podziemski gets the Stephen Curry comparison in "Bro thinks he's Steph 😭", the biggest new draw from GD's Highlights' fourteen-upload week. The NBA clips channel's post has reached roughly 1.7 million views, with viewers discussing a no-look three-point attempt and a full-court pass.

Not all of that conversation is about the basketball itself. Some viewers question the teasing, while one describes recognizing the same comparison during a game watched with their dad. Curry's recognizable mannerisms give the clip its premise, but the comments also ask how much should be made of a player taking after his idol.

Another Podziemski-tagged upload, "It's gonna be a LONG Season 😭", now has the strongest daily momentum on the channel. The broader compilation "NBA \"Greatest Preseason Ever!\" 🔥 MOMENTS" is also among its busiest uploads, widening the lens from individual moments to the preseason as a whole.

Elsewhere, "Kawhi is BACK in Toronto 🔥" offers a setting with particular history: Leonard helped the Raptors win their first NBA championship in 2019. Two Haliburton posts add a return-themed highlight and some trash talk to the week's mix.

The channel added about twelve million views across the week, while its subscriber count remained unchanged. Daily viewing is below its usual level. Nearby sports channels had varied weeks: MLB added subscribers and substantially more views, while NBC Sports had a smaller view gain. For GD's Highlights, the most active conversation is clustered around Podziemski and that unmistakable Curry reference.

I mean if he's going to copy anybody. Steph isn't a bad role model, one of the best on and off the court.
