Pulse jets on dirt bike tires: Tom Coolen's rocket sled rides again
Two short sled updates went up a day apart, with straightened engines, new tie rods and a comment section that had been waiting for version two.

Tom Coolen dragged the rocket sled back out. The pulse jet contraption, the loudest regular on his channel, got two updates a day apart: "Rocket Sled Revive & Drive!" on Wednesday and "Rocket Sled Rivive!" (spelling his own) on Thursday. Both descriptions name the same job, a switch to dirt bike tires, and the second adds straightening the engines up.
It is the second one people found. Seven hours after it went up it had passed 44,000 views, far ahead of the longer revive-and-drive the day before. The comments read like a reunion: viewers who say they knew a Rocket Sled 2.0 was coming, one who spotted the new tie rods and another who admires the caster and the steering geometry. Several write in from Canada, one with a hello to Cold Lake, Alberta, and one says the videos feel like building crazy things with an uncle again.
Behind the sled, the exhaust work still does steady business. "So many cylinders!!", a dual exhaust job with tips, has passed 1.4 million views in four weeks, and "Sweet Sounding Pipes!!", an almost straight-piped Acura, is closing on 1.2 million.
The whole channel ran slower than its usual pace, with about 2,000 new subscribers over the week. Even so, among the car channels nearest its size it gathered the most views, a little ahead of Pico Automotive Diagnostics, which had an enormous day, and Pole Barn Garage, also busy.
