"What happened to the game I love?": Goresh looks back at Dragon Ball Legends

Between the soul-searching, a new Legends Limited Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta took over most of his fifteen uploads.

What happened to the game I love?

Goresh, the bilingual Dragon Ball fan who splits his time between Dokkan Battle and Dragon Ball Legends, asked his audience a heavier question than usual: "What happened to the game I love?" It went up on Monday, passed 100,000 views in its first day and is now the most watched of his week, close to 150,000.

The comment section reads like a long players' meeting. Many talk about what years of summoning have done to them, some call the discussion an annual tradition, and longtime players trade theories about the PvP meta, new characters arriving faster than free-to-play accounts can keep up, and old mechanics like cover changing. A few gently tell him they would follow him to other content if Legends stopped being fun.

Then the game handed him a new toy. A Legends Limited Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta was revealed the next day, and Goresh covered him from every angle: a live reaction, a breakdown, a damage showcase and, newest of all, a fully starred version taking apart a movies team, which is the video moving fastest on the channel right now. A cheeky "I Deserved This" and a verdict that the free Heat Dome Trunks is mid (and, the title notes, does not even do the heat dome attack) are close behind.

Fifteen uploads made it a busy seven days, and the channel ran at well over double its usual daily pace. Among similar strategy and role-playing channels, nobody gathered more views this week, with Raiyuden and Preach Gaming also running far above their norms. The subscriber count, for all that, stayed where it was.
