Guga Foods gives steak an unusually crowded supporting cast in "I Tried EVERY Seafood with Steak!": canned sardines, fresh uni, a shellfish salad and a lavish king crab finale. Mark, better known as Caviar Man, helps prepare the seafood before Felix, Leo and a third judge score the combinations.
The week's only new upload has reached nearly a million views. Its most interesting question isn't simply which bite tastes best, but whether spending more makes the pairing more worthwhile. Dungeness crab receives a lower average score than the sardines, while raw uni earns a much warmer reception. The king crab, caviar and gold-leaf combination gets unanimous perfect scores, but Leo brings the value discussion right back to the humble can of fish. The video also includes a sponsored supplement segment.
Viewers have their own tasting notes. Several argue that the Dungeness deserved butter or a different preparation; others are already proposing crab dry-aging experiments. For a channel whose long-running hits include "Can DRY AGE save a $1 Steak?", that is a very familiar next question.
The seafood tasting is the most active of the channel's highlighted uploads right now. Last week's butter-versus-oil experiment continues drawing views, as does the older ribeye test involving a week-long soak in Jollibee gravy.
Across the channel, daily views are running at more than twice their usual pace, and subscribers increased over the week. Nearby cooking channels have mixed rhythms: Essen Recipes is also above its usual daily viewing level, while Epicurious and Jamie Oliver are quieter than usual. Guga's particular contribution is a steak tasting where even a perfect luxury bite doesn't settle the argument about dinner value.

@anactualbot420See it on YouTubeThe Dungeness got a raw deal, its the only seafood that did not have any extras with it. Personally I would have used the body meat with some melted butter, absolutely delicious!
@RealChrisinAZSee it on YouTubeSurprised we didn't get to see Mark try a Guga surf and turf steak combination. Especially the last one.
