GUGUGAMER's football lookalikes reach for the same trophy

A close-finish challenge adds a fast-starting Short to the clips channel's week of subscriber growth.

Why this story? The channel went from 270,000 to 365,000 subscribers this week.

Four football lookalikes have the same target: get their ball to a trophy first. A Haaland character watches as the figures representing Olise, Mbappé, Yamal and Dembélé attempt the challenge, each standing for a different club. This is staged football parody, not the players taking part.

The trophy Short has drawn roughly 714,000 views in its first 16 hours, running well ahead of the channel's usual Shorts start. It adds a fresh moment to GUGUGAMER's continuing growth: the clips channel gained about 95,000 subscribers over the past week, expanding by more than a third.

The description presents the finish as close enough to invite a second look, asking viewers to decide which ball reached the prize first. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG provide the team identities, but the contest itself is a tabletop-style diversion rather than a match.

Another recent upload swaps the trophy for drinks. Its description sets up a choice between soda, bubble tea, milk and water, with the straws supplying the skit's complication.
