Behind the bathroom tile with Home RenoVision DIY
Jeff Thorman's four-upload week spans waterproofing, towel bars and two very different uses for glass.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
I've Renovated Bathrooms for 30 Years. Never Skip This.
A bathroom can look finished long before the important work is settled. Jeff Thorman's most-watched new upload, "I've Renovated Bathrooms for 30 Years. Never Skip This.", puts the emphasis behind the tile: water protection, product choices and doing the work in the right order.
The renovation roadmap runs from demolition and existing water damage through a new shower pan, plumbing, waterproofing, tile and fixtures. It drew roughly 142,000 views, the largest audience among Home RenoVision DIY's four releases this week. In the comments, one homeowner asks for a guide to everything a house inspection might miss; another points out that a renovation walkthrough can help people hiring a contractor, too. The questions extend beyond how to do the work to knowing what needs doing.
The smaller jobs got their own space in "Install Your Bathroom Towel Bar So It NEVER Comes Off" and "The Trick for Installing a Shower Glass Partition". Outside, "Spindle vs. Glass Deck Railings" supplied a change of setting. That railing comparison is currently drawing the most daily views of any upload, with the fresh shower-glass video and an earlier bad-drywall repair video close together behind it.
Across the channel, weekly views topped five million while subscribers stayed level. Daily viewing is above its usual pace, as it is for nearby home-and-building channels Project Farm and Living Big In A Tiny House. For Jeff, the work attracting attention stretches from glass railings to the decidedly less decorative business of fixing drywall mistakes.

Not sure how to recommend videos. Personally, i would love a video of "you bought a new house, and heres everything your inspector missed" . And then like follow it up with "homeowners 101: things you should do but u didnt know". I'm in a position where I just got a house, I thought everything was good for 10 years but clearly not. What do I check? And if something is bad then I know to search your videos
@epic220See it on YouTubeThis is absolutely the best video for how to renovate a bathroom properly. All the steps are identified and well explained. Love that you indicate which jobs are best left to a professional. Even someone hiring a contractor can use this to ensure that the person being hired is doing the job properly.
@connie3306See it on YouTubeJeff, we would watch a video on how to screw in a lightbulb. Because you'd have a perspective we've never thought of before. 🤣

Great video to point out what videos to go watch on your channel. Then learn how to do each step you mention in this video. Ah a method to the madness.
