Inside a Former Dovecote Turned Country Home in Oxfordshire
House & Garden posted nothing new, and the British magazine's channel hardly slowed. Its shelf of house tours carried it at a little above its usual pace, with more than 200,000 views over the seven days.
The one doing the most work is ten weeks old: "Inside a Former Dovecote Turned Country Home in Oxfordshire." Its guide is Emma Burns of Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, the London decorating firm whose name is close to shorthand for the English country-house look. Her house sits behind a small door on an ordinary village street, and she describes the moment of stepping through it plainly: "My shoulders relax. I'm surprised every time I see it."
Close behind, and only two weeks old, is a very different kind of house. Mel Campion is a decorative artist who works in shells, and her home and studio, nicknamed "the white sugar cube," faces the sea on Anglesey. "When you're working with shells, to be working this close to the sea is phenomenal," she says, looking out over the bay. A summer tour of the London townhouse Nina of Greece shares with her husband, Philippos, rounds out the three.
Among the home channels nearest its size, Dreamy Interior is having by far the biggest week, while House & Garden sits third for views gained. The subscriber count held steady.
