Showing Carter my iPhone Duo

"You should be calling off of it. The front camera would look better," Carter tells Parker Burton, who has called to show him his iPhone Duo. Parker's explanation is that he is using an 18 Pro Max because Carter wouldn't answer Google Meet.

That is the little absurdity at the center of "Showing Carter my iPhone Duo": getting a new foldable phone, then reaching for a different phone to show it to your friend. For a creator whose channel bio reads "That Android Guy," the Apple-to-Apple call adds another layer to the joke.

The Short reached roughly 299,000 views in eight hours. Its estimated first-day audience is more than five times Parker's usual for Shorts, and the separate arrival upload, "iPhone Duo is Here!", is also heading toward an unusually large first day.

Viewers are picking up on Carter's expression and the contrast between his calm call voice and his more animated video delivery. Some also want a phone-call version of his familiar introduction. The exchange continues a run of Carter appearances, including Parker's earlier upload about Carter getting an Apple event invitation before him.

Carter isn't planning to wait long for his own turn. He says someone is flying from Arizona to deliver his Duo later that day. Even with that arrangement in place, he tells Parker: "Dang, I am still jealous."
