Dylan Novak taps Storm in, but the dance timing slips

Another head-turning attempt brings a much faster start for the duo, while viewers make a case for rewarding the effort anyway.

The tap doesn't help. Dylan Novak turns his head with the music and gives Storm a little prompt, but the French bulldog keeps looking straight ahead. When Storm finally looks toward him, Novak is already moving on to the next cue.

The latest attempt at synchronized head turns has reached about 1.6 million views before its first full day is over, far beyond Novak's usual start for a Short. It arrives as the channel adds 42,000 subscribers over seven days.

Storm's directional difficulties have featured in Novak's earlier clips, but this upload adds the small physical nudge and a forgiving caption: "you got it next time bud". There are no spoken instructions from Novak, just the music, his demonstration and a partner working to a different schedule.

In the comments, viewers pick up on that tap. Several also demand a treat for Storm, whether or not he gets the choreography right. A missed cue apparently doesn't disqualify him from payment.
