Rebecca Black supplies the soundtrack; Dylan Novak handles the choreography. With Storm sitting in his lap, Novak brings the French bulldog closer to the camera and gently waves his front paws to "Friday." A chest rub finishes the brief routine. There is no spoken dialogue, and very little room for the missed dance cues that have featured in other Storm clips.

The Short, posted Friday, passed a million views within its first twelve hours. Its estimated first-day pace is more than twelve times Novak's usual Shorts start. The comments are already much busier than a typical full first day, too, with viewers exchanging Friday greetings and pointing out that they have arrived on the right day.

Storm's weekend greeting is becoming a recurring feature: Novak also posted Frenchie Friday clips earlier in October. Elsewhere in the dog's dance catalog, two uploads from early in the month have each passed ten million views. Their titles offer Storm reassuring promises about getting it right next time. Here, Novak does the paw work himself.
