Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Talking about my cat again

A Pokémon challenge from 2019 has become a sizable part of JaidenAnimations' history: "I Attempted my First Pokemon Nuzlocke" now has more than 100 million views. It is her most-watched regular upload, on a channel where gaming adventures share space with very personal accounts of living with animals.

There were no new uploads this week, but the catalog added roughly 2.6 million views. Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing is currently more than twice its usual level.

The most active individual upload is "Talking about my cat again," and Tostada supplies plenty of material beyond simply being cute. Jaiden describes a cat who gets confused by stairs, investigates fresh water bottles with intense concentration and treats fellow cat Frasier as an intruder after he gets a haircut. "She forgot going up the stairs takes her upstairs," Jaiden says, turning a tiny household puzzle into an animated character study.

"How I ended up Vegetarian." is also drawing viewers, followed in the current momentum selection by "Storyboard vs Animation: me complaining for 15 mins (shot 26)." That last title offers a different kind of return visit: a look at the work between a planned shot and its finished animation.

Among nearby animation channels, DEATH BATTLE! had a growing subscriber audience this week, while TerminalMontage, like JaidenAnimations, recorded steady subscribers and daily viewing above its usual level. For Jaiden, the week needed no new release to bring viewers to both Pokémon adventures and Tostada's household mysteries.
