A Chick-fil-A refund offer doesn't settle Jeremy Hambly's latest clip
A complaint about unmelted cheese becomes a demand for both money back and a meal, drawing an unusually large audience.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 81,680 views a day, 5.9 times a normal first day on this channel (13,779).
Chick fil A Customer Has An Unhinged Meltdown Inside The Restaurant #ChickFilA #CustomerMeltdown #Re
"Just leave fast food employees alone. They got enough problems," Jeremy Hambly says before introducing a customer's recording from a Chick-fil-A counter.
The complaint starts with cold cheese on a chicken sandwich. An employee explains that the hot chicken can warm it, but the restaurant cannot melt it for him. Another staff member offers a refund. That doesn't resolve the exchange: the customer wants to keep the food, too, and says he hasn't brought the receipt.
Hambly's commentary Short drew roughly 82,000 views in its first day, nearly six times his usual start for the format. The comments were also much busier than usual, with viewers repeatedly returning to the same practical question: why demand the meal as well as the money back?
The footage grows more hostile, with profanity and racial slurs, repeated requests to leave and staff mentioning a call to police. It ends amid a physical scuffle and a wildly shaking camera, far removed from the original discussion about cheese.
