Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Pressure Washer Becomes An Instant Volunteer Firefighter During Emergency

Equipment meant for cleaning driveways gets a very different assignment in Jeremy Hambly's newest roadside clip. In “Pressure Washer Becomes An Instant Volunteer Firefighter During Emergency,” a worker pulls over and directs water at a burning SUV before firefighters arrive to take over. It is already the channel's second-busiest video by current daily views.

Hambly posted 15 videos this week, with the school-pickup encounter drawing the largest audience: more than 210,000 views. Beneath that upload, viewers discuss practical identity checks, authorized pickup lists and sending parents to the school office, rather than making the exchange more complicated.

The lemonade-stand video supplies a gentler counterpoint, showing a customer handing out unexpected cash gifts. It joins the pickup clip and pressure-washer upload as the channel's strongest sources of momentum right now. A first-time Tesla Full Self-Driving reaction adds a technology detour.

Subscribers held steady over the week, while current daily views are nearly half again above their usual level. Nearby commentary channel Vlad and Chris Reacts saw substantial subscriber growth; Glink had a quieter viewing week. For Hambly, everyday encounters are doing much of the viewing work.

At my kids school they ask for an ID and call me. It doesn't have to be this complicated.

The school will usually have their names of people who could pick up that solves the problem right there

That is why they have a sheet you fill out at the beginning of the year telling the school who is allowed to pick the child up. If you aren’t on that list, you aren’t getting the kid.
