Joe Rogan Experience #2565 - Michael Douglas

The movie memories pile up. Under "Joe Rogan Experience #2565 - Michael Douglas," viewers are naming the films they want to revisit: The Game, Falling Down, Romancing the Stone and The Ghost and the Darkness. One recalls discovering Douglas through The Streets of San Francisco, taking the conversation back well before his movie-star years.

Douglas delivered PowerfulJRE's most-watched new upload of the week, with roughly 900,000 views. His appearance accompanies his book One Helluva Ride, and follows a visit from someone with a direct connection to his television work: Chuck Lorre. Beyond The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men, Lorre created The Kominsky Method, in which Douglas played an acting coach. Both guests arrive with books, Lorre's titled Sitcom: A Memoir.

The other two conversations move from Hollywood to reporting and the origins of everyday language. Mariana van Zeller's appearance coincided with the October 17 premiere of her documentary special Super Scam Me. Cody Tucker, meanwhile, has Where Did That Come From?: The Hidden History of Everyday Words and Phrases to add to his history-and-pop-culture repertoire.

Van Zeller's episode has the strongest daily momentum on the channel, drawing new views more than three times as quickly as either Tucker's or Douglas's conversation.

Across the catalog, PowerfulJRE added about nine million views over seven days, while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is below its usual level. Among nearby interview channels, The Diary Of A CEO had substantial subscriber growth; PowerfulJRE's own week was distinguished instead by a guest list connecting sitcom-making, movie memories, investigative journalism and word histories.
