How Clean Is Manila Philippines? 🇵🇭

The soles are the surprise: after a walk outdoors, Jojo Sim's white socks show very little dirt. He peels them off on a park bench and holds the bottoms toward the camera. "Wait, it's actually pretty clean," he says.

His Short, "How Clean Is Manila Philippines? 🇵🇭", reached roughly 290,000 views in 17 hours, a much faster start than his usual Shorts. The comment section is also far busier than usual, with viewers recognizing streets they travel themselves.

The setup is simple. Jojo puts on fresh socks while sitting on a planter ledge, then carries his shoes through streets and across intersections. His route runs through Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, part of Metro Manila, rather than Manila city proper. After ten minutes, he stops for the inspection.

It is another destination for the socks-only format, following the Brooklyn walk we covered earlier. Here, the replies add a neighborhood-level perspective: one viewer recognizes a route taken with their dad, another says they pass through on the way to school. Others compare the lightly marked soles with what their own socks pick up indoors.
