Shoot or pass? Kendall Gray returns to deer hunting

A buck supplies the decision, but viewers are also talking about the opening poetry.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

First Deer Hunt and This Buck Walks Out! Shoot or Pass?

The deer aren't getting all the attention in Kendall Gray's latest hunting upload. Viewers keep returning to his opening rhymes, with Dr. Seuss comparisons and plenty of talk about his unexpected poetry performance.

"First Deer Hunt and This Buck Walks Out! Shoot or Pass?" was the bigger draw of his two new uploads, reaching roughly 330,000 views. Its title puts a familiar hunting decision front and center: whether the buck in front of you is the one to take. Several commenters are marking the return of deer season, while others recognize the sound of nearby gunshots from their own mornings outdoors.

The week's other upload, "I Bought Koi Fish off Amazon for my Pond! #Jesus #GrayGang", trades the hunt for pond stocking. It's a different way to bring animals into the channel's outdoors world, with delivery rather than tracking involved.

Across the channel, views increased by about 3.2 million over the week, while subscribers stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is close to its usual level. Among nearby outdoors channels, Woodsbound Outdoors had a larger viewing week, while BlacktipH had a quieter one.

The new deer hunt has the strongest daily momentum of Gray's active uploads, but September's "Spiderman vs 50 Caliber Sniper!" remains a substantial draw. "Cut the Rope, win the prize! #Jesus #GrayGang" is also keeping that older batch busy.
