- 1:13Scott introduces the enormous Roman-style ballista he has named the Dragon Slayer.
- 5:02A mechanical zombie becomes the first target, and its internal frame bends the projectile's tip.
- 7:01The SUV test breaks a window before a subsequent shot accidentally hits the slow-motion camera.
- 10:53A heavy bolt splits a thick clay pot.
- 12:44An animatronic Xenomorph becomes the next target; the sequence's outcome follows.
The SUV window breaks, but the next shot finds something Scott hadn't intended to put on the target list. "I shot over the car and hit the slow-mo camera," he says. The Dragon Slayer's range debut has acquired an expensive-looking outtake.
Kentucky Ballistics posted two uploads this week: "338 Lapua Magnum Sniper" and "The Dragon Slayer Ballista (The World's Biggest Crossbow !!!)". The latter brings an eleven-foot Roman-style machine onto the range, with Scott supplying both the demonstration and the costumed characters in its opening comedy sketch. It also includes a sponsored mobile-game segment.
Mechanical zombies, a Grim Reaper and a Xenomorph decoration give the ballista an appropriately monstrous set of targets. A thick clay pot gets a turn, too. Despite the scale, the comments keep returning to a practical question: could the machine deliver more speed and power? Several viewers suggest a Tod's Workshop collaboration, while another neatly renames the channel Kentucky Ballistas.
The ballista is the channel's most active video right now, followed by the miniature-shotgun episode we covered here and the giant-marshmallow test. Across the catalog, daily views are running at roughly three times their usual pace, although subscribers held steady just below six million.
Among nearby channels, Forgotten Weapons and Sellsword Arts are also seeing elevated daily viewing. For Scott, the week's distinctive change is from shrinking a shotgun to finding room for a siege engine, and discovering that the camera wasn't far enough away.
