KLT takes its songbook beyond the solar system
The channel's only new upload introduces an exoplanet billed as just 63 light-years away.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
A New Exoplanet Is Only 63 Light Years Away! | KLT
KLT's familiar eight-planet song has a destination beyond its usual neighborhood. "A New Exoplanet Is Only 63 Light Years Away! | KLT" was the channel's sole new upload, bringing another astronomy subject into its world of original music and animation.
The Saturday release reached roughly 23,000 views in its first forty hours. It also has the strongest daily momentum among the channel's active uploads, followed by "We Found A Black Hole Shredding A Star! | KLT" and "A Marathon of Outer Space Songs! | KLT". That makes for quite a space syllabus: a planet beyond our sun, a star in trouble and a longer musical journey through the cosmos.
The exoplanet title's "only" is doing astronomical work. A light-year measures distance, not time: even a relatively nearby world is far beyond the scale of a trip around our solar system.
Across the channel, views rose by nearly six million over seven days, while the subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is close to its usual level. CrunchLabs had a similar weekly view gain, while Dr Ben Miles had a larger week among nearby science channels.
For KLT, the new destination sits beside a remarkably durable starting point: its eight-planet song from 2015 remains its most-watched regular upload. Exploring farther out hasn't made the home solar system obsolete.
