Supercar budgets meet gold coins in Mark Tilbury's week
Two new uploads put luxury-car prices and forms of gold on the money channel's agenda.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
BUYING A SUPERCAR AT EVERY BUDGET
The cars drew the crowd. Mark Tilbury's "BUYING A SUPERCAR AT EVERY BUDGET" reached nearly 1.9 million views, making it the more watched of his two uploads this week.
The budget ladder also gave viewers plenty to question. Comments debate the prices attached to the cars, suggest less expensive alternatives and ask what a rather smaller wallet might buy. One viewer raises a different question altogether: if you could afford the car, wouldn't driving it matter more than its value a decade later? For a channel built around money decisions, that is a useful complication to the showroom fantasy.
"GOLD BAR VS GOLD COIN" brought the subject back to something you can hold without needing a garage. It had a smaller total after its opening hours, but is currently gathering views faster than the supercar upload.
Neither new arrival is the channel's busiest draw right now. That distinction belongs to the older "BANK REFUSES TO GIVE MILLIONAIRE HIS MONEY," which has passed 11 million views. "WHAT REAL MILLIONAIRES BUY" is also among the uploads carrying the most daily momentum.
Among nearby money-and-business channels, Caleb Hammer had a particularly busy viewing week, while Max Klymenko also drew a substantial audience. Tilbury added subscribers over the week, even as his current daily viewing pace fell well below its usual level. His week paired aspirational shopping with a much more basic money question: getting access to it.
