Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 437,702 views a day, 27 times a normal first day on this channel (16,310).

GUESS THE TALENT!

"GUESS THE TALENT!" is the game its title promises, and Simon Minter, the Miniminter of the Sidemen, did not play it alone. The description names his co-hosts, Dani and Moyo, and closes on one question: who had the best talent?

Ten hours after it went up, the video had passed 250,000 views. A new upload here usually ends its whole first day in the tens of thousands. It also comes a day after a short clip about Harry Lewis ran well ahead of the channel's usual pace, as we reported here. The surrounding uploads, quick emoji-titled bits about milkshakes and long waits for food, mostly settled far lower.

The comment section is mostly about the guests. Several viewers call Dani and Moyo some of the most entertaining people the channel has hosted, others say the two play off each other well, and a few are already hoping to see them in a Sidemen Sunday, the group's weekly video on its main channel. Some viewers know Dani from the Sidemen's reality series, and others mention a stream she did with Tobi.

The talents get their share of attention too. Viewers point to a balancing act and to someone who turned out to be a real dancer, and one notes that the video was half over before anyone had scored a point. One commenter writes that he grew up watching Simon and ended up in the video himself, with worms placed in his hand.
