Trevon Brazile heads toward the basket, and Nikola Jokić supplies the delivery. Denver's passing gives the Lakers plenty to handle in the NBA's highlights of the teams' final preseason game at Crypto.com Arena.
There's a useful explanation from the sideline, too. Reporter Angel Gray relays Cameron Johnson's point that surprise passes become easier to catch when players understand the spacing. With Jokić finding Brazile for alley-oops and easy baskets, the recap offers a practical demonstration.
Denver finishes with a 121-106 win. Jamal Murray and Christian Braun help stretch the lead, while Marvin Bagley contributes offensive rebounds, putbacks and defense off the bench. For Los Angeles, Luka Dončić creates openings with his drives and passes, and Austin Reaves and Sandro Mamukelashvili provide shooting to keep the Lakers in reach.
The highlights drew roughly 770,000 views in their first 22 hours, far beyond the NBA channel's usual first-day audience for regular videos. The Trail Blazers-Warriors preseason recap also made an unusually fast start.
The Nuggets-Lakers comment section is more than ten times as busy as a typical first day. Viewers point to Jokić's three-point shooting, Murray's performances against Los Angeles and DeMar DeRozan's isolation game, including how drawing extra defenders can open shots for teammates.

DeRozan as a sixth man will be a nightmare, that iso deadly especially if he turns his back to the basket and they’ll be forced to double team eventually like they did in this game, giving open looks to his teammates.
