The NBA's weekly view gain landed in the same neighborhood as MLB's, while the NFL had a substantially bigger week. For basketball viewers, the attraction was a final assortment of preseason action: full-game highlights, practice shooting and individual plays worth another look.

Fifteen uploads brought that mix to the league's official channel. The most-watched, "NUGGETS at LAKERS | NBA PRESEASON FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | October 16, 2026," passed a million views. Denver closed out the game with a win, but the supporting players give the recap much of its texture: Sandro Mamukelashvili and Austin Reaves connect from deep, while Marvin Bagley contributes offensive rebounds and putbacks at the other end.

The comments give DeMar DeRozan plenty of attention, with viewers discussing his fourth-quarter scoring and imagining what his isolation game could offer Denver's bench. Others pick out Jokić's three-point shooting and Jamal Murray's performances against Los Angeles.

Away from that finale, Klay Thompson testing the nets at practice in South Beach has the next-strongest daily momentum, closely followed by Ja Morant's preseason save to Dame. The newer Edwards-and-LaMelo compilation adds another way into the preseason: a collection of their best plays rather than a single game's story.

The channel added roughly 49 million views over seven days, with its subscriber count unchanged. Daily viewing is currently running almost half again above its usual level. The Denver-Lakers recap remains its busiest individual upload, but a practice session and a quick save show how much of this NBA week fits between the games.

nice to see jokic's 3pt shot back

Derozan took over in the 4th. If he can be that guy for the Nuggets, then perhaps the bench concerns will start dissipating. That reverse dunk was nasty

DeRozan as a sixth man will be a nightmare, that iso deadly especially if he turns his back to the basket and they’ll be forced to double team eventually like they did in this game, giving open looks to his teammates.
