Rex H finally puts paint on his EVO ute
The long-running pickup project reaches its paint milestone as daily viewing across the channel climbs to more than eight times its usual pace.
Why this story? The whole channel is running at 212,214 views a day, 8.5 times a normal day (24,871).
September's upload promised painting. October's title changes the tense: "We FINALLY Painted The EVO UTE Mitsubishi Never Made". For anyone following Rex H's unusual Mitsubishi-inspired pickup project, that is a concrete step beyond another installment of the build.
The new video arrived on October 13, following a series of summer updates and September's painting entry. The project's tags connect the conversion to the Proton Jumbuck and Mitsubishi's Evo, bringing a humble small pickup into the world of rally-inspired car modification. This is a custom build, not a Mitsubishi production-model reveal.
Alongside that update, daily viewing across Rex H's channel has climbed to about 210,000 views, more than eight times its usual pace. That is a channel-wide rise, rather than a view count for the paint episode alone.
The sequence also gives the latest title a little extra meaning: after parts devoted to building the ute, and an upload announcing the painting stage, Rex H can finally call it painted.
