"I'm the Dragon Ball guy. I gotta be on Dragon Ball's side." Rhymestyle makes his allegiance clear before Death Battle's animated Goku-Saitama encounter gets properly cosmic. That doesn't stop him pausing over the mechanics, including whether Saitama could survive Hakai.

The reaction is the week's most-watched upload, reaching roughly 173,000 views. The custom animation starts in an arena and expands into outer space, with Super Saiyan 4 and Ultra Instinct joining the spectacle. Rhymestyle's attention turns to the craft as much as the verdict: he calls for the animators to be hired again and given a raise. Viewers, meanwhile, repeatedly recommend the Shadow-Mewtwo episode as his next animation showcase to watch. Others get into the finer points of Dragon Fist and Kaioken.

DotoDoya joins him for "Two Idiots Duos vs Team Broly," whose premise doubles the problem with Brolys from different timelines. It's the next most active upload behind the reaction. Their other outing, "WE GOT FIRED FROM YOUTUBE (Two Idiots vs New Scary Job)," is a co-op horror-game premise, not an announcement that their channels have been shut down.

The remaining upload brings Gogeta and Orange Piccolo gameplay from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, returning to a series whose older guides remain among Rhymestyle's most-watched videos.

Subscribers held steady, while the channel added about 1.1 million views over seven days. Daily viewing is currently well above its usual level. Nearby in the anime crowd, Totally Not Mark and Geekdom101 are also drawing above-usual daily audiences; for Rhymestyle, the Goku-Saitama reaction is supplying the strongest current momentum.

You should watch the new Shadow vs Mewtwo, it's by far their best animated Death Battle, and does both characters justice.
