Jaguar opinions and a Ghostbuster visit on RoadandTrack

Four new uploads span the Type 01, Ferrari software changes and a Manthey test in Valencia.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Jaguar drew the biggest crowd. "Jaguar's new future has arrived. Meet the Type 01" reached about 31,000 views, comfortably the most watched of RoadandTrack's four new uploads. The description practically invites an argument about its design, and viewers have taken up the subject: some compare its shape with movie cars, while others ask whether admiration will translate into purchases or wonder about future body repairs.

The rest of the week offered a useful contrast between appearances and driving feel. "2027 Ferrari Purosangue Handling Speciale Is a Little More Special" describes sharper responses through software changes rather than additional V-12 power. In "Manthey kits promise faster lap times, but can you actually feel the difference behind the wheel?", editor-at-large Matt Farah, known for The Smoking Tire, heads to the track in Valencia to test that question.

Rivian supplied the playful detour. "Rivian dropped its new Halloween Mode on Thursday and we got a close look." includes Bill Murray in attendance, a fitting guest given his role as Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters.

Across the channel, views stayed close to their usual daily level and subscribers were unchanged over the week. Nearby in subscriber size, Wheelie Yellow had a particularly busy week, while RoadandTrack added roughly a quarter-million views. Its strongest daily draw among the active videos is an older Ford upload: "The Mustang Dark Horse SC picks up where the Shelby GT500 left off," which presents Ford's changes as a more tightly honed successor to the GT500.
