This dog reminds me so much of the two shelter dogs who rescued me in 2021. They had also been there less than 24 hours and were very shut down. Wouldn’t eat or drink, just laid there like rugs, hadn’t been groomed in a while. We took them home, got them vet care and grooming, and they are still beloved members of our family.
