Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Did anybody else think this or just me?? #standupcomedy #shorts #toystory5 #pixar #movie

Taylor Tomlinson went to the movies and came away with a much darker plot than Pixar intended. A tree carving reading "Jessie Was Here" looked to her like a memorial rather than a time-capsule marker. It took a conversation with friends afterward to straighten things out.

That misunderstanding anchors her only upload of the week, "Did anybody else think this or just me?? #standupcomedy #shorts #toystory5 #pixar #movie". Before getting to Toy Story 5, she runs through Soul, Onward and Coco, asking why Pixar keeps returning to death. "I was there day one," she says of her Toy Story attendance, a useful defense against any suggestion that she isn't committed to the material.

The audience in the room doesn't seem to share her reading, and she pivots: "We'll get into jokes now. My bad." The comments offer more company. Viewers bring up Up's opening, Bing Bong in Inside Out and the anxious possibilities they imagined while watching Finding Dory. Several also say they made the same mistake about the carving.

The Short has reached roughly 531,000 views and is the channel's busiest upload right now. But it has older company: her airplane-romance question from September and the career-themed hedgehog clip are also drawing substantial daily viewing.

Across the channel, the week brought about 10.6 million views and a growing subscriber audience, with daily viewing running above its usual level. Among nearby stand-up channels, Gianmarco Soresi had a particularly busy week, while Ali Siddiq's daily audience stayed close to normal. Tomlinson's contribution required just a microphone and one very pessimistic trip to Pixar.

What viewers say

The opening act of _Up!_ hit everyone so hard that Pixar decided all their movies should be like that.

I will never forgive Pixar for what they did to bing bong.

Always had issues with this “a character has to die” catalyst. I love Emperors New Groove bc no one dies… and it’s just straight up hilarious to boot.
