Ellie Goulding gets two turns on TikTok Melody's mixed playlist

Seven lyric-video uploads also brought Lauren Spencer Smith, UK drill, indie rock and an Il Divo Christmas standard.

Lauren Spencer Smith - Narcissist (Lyrics)

A breakup song and a declaration of independence gave Ellie Goulding two different places in TikTok Melody's new selections. The channel posts lyric videos of other artists' recordings, and its choices ranged well beyond pop this week, from Bandokay and LD to The Backseat Lovers and Il Divo.

The most watched new upload was "Lauren Spencer Smith - Narcissist (Lyrics)", with just under 900 views. Its subject is a damaging relationship, while "Ellie Goulding - Let It Die (Lyrics)" turns toward leaving one behind. "Alok, Sigala, Ellie Goulding - All By Myself (Lyrics)" supplies the self-reliant dance-pop counterpart. That collaboration currently has the strongest daily viewing among the channel's active videos, followed by Spencer Smith and "The Backseat Lovers - Growing/Dying (Lyrics)".

The new uploads drew modest audiences, but the channel as a whole added about 1.2 million views over seven days. Subscribers were unchanged. Among nearby music channels, MorganWallenVEVO had a particularly large week for views, while Rocked was quieter; TikTok Melody sat around the middle of the group by size and weekly viewing.

Its selections were anything but uniform: "Bandokay, LD - Too Many Lies (Lyrics)" brought UK drill, and "Il Divo - O Holy Night (Lyrics)" put a Christmas carol beside the week's relationship songs and indie introspection.
